Havanese Sweetheart
Jun. 8th, 2009 06:39 pmMy little havanese has developed a habit. Every evening at 6:00, she runs to a window at the side of the house and puts her little paws up on the window sill. At some point between 6:00 and 6:30, the barking begins. I will shush her, and for 30 seconds or so she is quiet.
Finally, I found out what she has been barking at. Deer have been walking under a large oak tree at the side of the yard and then jumping into my backyard! They are eating something back there. Yesterday there were six.
Two days ago she began the ritual, but at a different window and time. A small family of wild turkey were on the other side of the house! They paid as much attention to my little fluff ball as the deer.
