A racoon was killed on my porch and partially eaten (ewwww) last night or in the early hours of the morning. It was not stiff when I moved it this morning. My little dogs didn't bark at anything last night. There was finally a reason for them to bark, yet they were silent. It is a mystery.
Most of the deer who stop in my yard are female, but when a male dropped by, he left something to remember him by. He used his antlers to mark my car like he would a tree! He dragged an antler down the front side of the car. I couldn't believe he did that! It will be fun trying to explain this to the insurance adjuster, but then I guess they hear just about everything.
