Hmmm, Personal Tastes Change???

After reading through something that I wrote four years ago, I am left wondering why the latter portion was written as it was. The beginning chapters don't seem to flow naturally into the final chapters, or my perception of how the main character should react has changed. Then again, the whole thing could have been written with something in mind that I have totally forgotten. Now, totally for my own benefit, I'll write an alternate ending to be promptly stored in that old folder and likely not read again. A waste of time...yes. Do I feel appropriately silly for even considering it...yes. Does that matter...not a great deal. Perhaps it will prod me into completing a very old plot bunny regarding a curious elf and body art bling. I sure hope so.
