OS Reinstallation Nightmare
Sep. 27th, 2009 01:22 pmI've never had to reinstall Windows...not any version of it. Finally, Vista forced my hand, and I had to do a clean install. OMG! There are so many things that have to be reloaded!
I have a fic ready for beta, but the word processing program disk was OEM, so I can not reinstall it. Instead, I have to buy another before I can even open the documents!
Every e-mail address that I had is gone. If anyone wants on my e-mail list, I'll need a new address.
Now, my fingers are crossed that eventually Vista will sort itself out. Otherwise, a new computer is in my future.
