What Is The Motive and So Sorry

This has been a very odd day. My nephew arrived yesterday. His wife e-mailed him at work that she wants a divorce. He has been here long enough to tell me of infidelity, lack of physical contact, money problems, etc.

I am not her friend and never have been. However now that they are going to divorce, she is trying to befriend me. First she sent me an e-mail that was creepy it was so sweet. My reaction was huh? She has called twice, just wanting to chat. Again...huh?

I am left thinking WTF??? What she thinks will come of trying to befriend me, I haven’t a clue. I don’t get it at all. Am I missing something?

Topping off the confusion, it has put me into a bad mood and I've been a total bitch. Apologies to a friend for a less than pleasant comment. *hugs*
