Christmas Decor and Dogs...

I put my Christmas tree up today. It is early, but I wanted to put the presents somewhere other than my bedroom closet. This year, I was concerned with my huge puppy. Lol, I had a mental picture of him deconstructing the tree. I used the shatterproof plastic ornaments that use ribbon hangers rather than hooks. My tree topper is a huge bow instead of the usual Santa. I wrapped several fake presents to serve as a barricade around the real ones. LOL, after all the pains I took to 'dog proof' my tree, my puppy laid in the middle of the floor and slept the afternoon away, ignoring the Christmas decorations, wrapping paper and bows entirely. He may be trying to lure me into a false sense of security.
