Men Making Decisions About Women's Health

OMG, not a good day to be a woman in Texas. Republicans passed and signed into law a bill that makes it illegal for the state to provide Medicaid funds to a doctor or clinic that is affiliated in any way with an organization that provides elective abortions...even if the institution receiving the money does not provide them! The law is supposed to go into effect in mid March. The men that are responsible for the law's passage have bragged that it will even keep government money from going to Planned Parenthood clinics that don't provide abortions.

*gnashes teeth*

If ever I win the lotto, I want to build a home in a land where women make the decisions about their own health. Is there such a place?
