sbyte | Unexpected Plant Life

This summer has been incredibly windy, hot and dry. Even I didn't appreciate just how windy till earlier today when mom took me to see an old shed. There are two tires on the roof...don't ask me why as I haven't a clue. The wind has blown enough dirt into one of them that it formed a planter. Somehow a cactus planted itself. There is a cactus growing on the roof of that old shed!

I posted several days ago about friends that asked to beta a fic. *sigh* The results are in. *bigger sigh* My initial thought is to have the fic re-beta'd but then my conscience kicks in and tells me to quit angsting about it and just post. They did spend their time and effort doing this and the attorney actually took time away from trial prep (lol, her boss would really appreciate knowing that).
